Body Of ChristThe Meeting Place Church is a single and united body of believers of like faith which claims to be a part of "Body of Christ", namely His church. We attempt to base all of our beliefs and practices on the whole Bible rightly divided, and the New Testament as our only rule of faith and manners.

Together In SalvationThe Meeting Place Church is just that, a community. The church is made up of a variety of age groups all from diverse backgrounds. We are bound together by the Salvation that we have experienced through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

IGNITE Youth GroupOur IGNITE Youth Group stays busy with many activities throughout the year. Our youth are not only focused on having fun, but they are also involved in mission work as well. The Leadership at The Meeting Place feels it is vitally important for the youth to learn it's not all about them, but it is about service and giving back to the community.

We believe that the Bible is divinely inspired of God. We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who was virgin born, lived a sinless life and performed the miracles as recorded in the Bible. That He became man's whole substance. That He was resurrected bodily from the dead. That He is sitting on the right hand of God. We believe that Christ shed His blood for the remission of our sins that we may obtain salvation. We believe in holiness and sanctification which is an act of separation from that which is evil to a complete dedication unto God. We believe that sanctification is obtained by faith in the atoning works of Christ and daily yielding our lives to the dominion of the Holy Ghost. We believe that the deliverance of the whole man is provided for in the atonement. |
We believe in the unity of the one true God wherein is the Godhead, namely the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. We believe that man was created good and upright, but man voluntarily transgressed God's laws and died a spiritual death. We believe in the Baptism in the Holy Ghost and the initial evidence of the reception of this experience is the physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterances. We believe in Christian liberty. However, we will not abuse this liberty to become a stumbling-block to them that are weak in conscience and faith. We believe in the whole Bible rightly divided and the New Testament as our creed and teachings. |
We believe in the imminent, personal, pre-millennial second coming of Christ. We believe that the resurrection of the dead in Christ and the translation of those who are alive is the hope of the Church. We believe that Christ will return with the saints to reign on the earth for one thousand years to set up the literal Kingdom of Heaven. We believe in the Final Judgment in which the wicked will be judged according to their works. Whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life will be consigned to everlasting, eternal punishment in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. We believe that there are three ordinances of the Church: Water Baptism by immersion, Holy Communion and Washing the saint's feet. We believe in the taking and sending the Gospel unto the uttermost parts of the earth. |
